Carbon footprint environmental assessment

climate impact

Through reuse of textile waste the carbon embedded in cotton cellulose is not released and this helps the reduction carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and contributes to reducing climate change.

SaXCell Recycle Loop

Fibres based on the SaXcell process fit seamlessly within existing supply chains and fill the gap between waste and raw materials. With regards to the downstream processing installations no specific requirements are needed. SaXcell is therefore the missing link in building a closed, circular value chain in textiles. The gathering of textiles is significant already and, because SaXcell fits within the existing Lyocell process, the fibre can be used immediately in the textile industry. To market this technology, it is necessary to increase production to industrial volumes.
